Mission:
The Illinois Valley Fine Arts Cooperative enriches the educational experience of students in the Illinois Valley by providing meaningful educational opportunities in
the arts.
Goals:
1. The Co-op allows students to experience fine arts performances in one of the best theater
facilities in the Illinois Valley.
2. The Co-op gives member schools an active say in programming and allows them to concentrate on the educational process while the Co-op takes care of the organizational planning and logistics of staging performances.
3. The Co-op is able to schedule fine arts performances that capture the imagination of targeted grade groups (K-2, 3-5, 6-12) so that students can experience educational fine arts performances with peer-students at other Illinois Valley schools.
4. The Co-op removes most institutional costs associated with fine arts performances and gives students an opportunity to experience quality events at a minimal cost
(two performances at a cost of $4.00 per year).
