The IVCC Foundation
The purpose of the IVCC Foundation is to enhance the educational opportunities for the diverse students of Illinois Valley Community College. The Foundation provides funding via external sources for academic programs, student services, and student scholarships.
The IVCC Foundation works hand in hand with IVCC to build and enhance the educational opportunities for students within District 513. The IVCC Foundation provides materials and monies that helps IVCC develop student leaders--one student at a time.
IVCC maintains an open door policy to make affordable, quality education available to all residents of District 513.
IVCC strives to meet the needs of all the district residents, but in order to do so, the College requires funding beyond what tuition, state and local taxes can provide. The College relies upon private support to maintain the educational excellence which it has worked so hard to achieve.
The generous donors to the IVCC Foundation provide the private support that helps maintain the quality of education for which IVCC is known. Through the programs of the IVCC Foundation, students who may not be able to afford an education are given scholarships so they can achieve their educational goals. In addition, the Foundation provides monies that allow the College to expand its horizons and respond to the unique needs of the district.
The purpose of the IVCC Foundation is to provide funding, otherwise unavailable, that helps IVCC to provide the quality of education on which futures are built. The IVCC Foundation truly is … "A Foundation for the Future."
