IVCC is proud to offer an Honors Program designed for and by our students! Our program offers many benefits: tuition waivers, specialized classes, smaller class sizes, personalized career/education guidance, distinction on transcripts, and much, much more.

Application Information

Students who would like to be considered for admission to the IVCC Honors Program can apply at any time. However, the application deadline for spring 2018 admission is Thursday, January 25. To find out how to apply, please click here.

Honors Program Publication by IVCC President

Special congratulations are due to IVCC President Jerry Corcoran, who recently had an article about our Honors Program published in the peer-reviewed periodical Journal of the National Collegiate Honors Council. Congratulations to all of our graduates transferring to four-year institutions. Our honors students this year are transferring to Johns Hopkins University, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Eureka College, Northern Illinois University, and more. Well done!

Honoring Our Own: Trevor Finnan

Congratulations to Trevor Finnan, the 2017 recipient of the Steven W. Rigazio Scholarship. This award provides a full scholarship to one lucky IVCC student transferring to Eureka College. He also received IVCC's prestigious Frederick W. Matthiessen Award and Phi Theta Kappa's Hites Transfer Scholarship. Best wishes to you, Trevor. We'll miss you!
