Applying to the Program

Honors Program admission is competitive, but does not require a minimum high school GPA or ACT/SAT score; students who have prior college credit will have their cumulative GPA taken into consideration. Once admitted to the program, a student must maintain a GPA of 3.25 in order to stay eligible for some program benefits.

Applicants are judged primarily by their Honors Program Application Essay. If you would like to apply for the IVCC Honors Program, please complete and submit the following to Adam Oldaker in office B-206: 

The deadline to apply for fall 2014 admission is September 3, 2014. Applications will be accepted starting August 1, 2014.

When the application period opens, applicants may mail, email, or personally deliver their program application form and essay  to:
