Catalog Description:
This class deals with management principles as they relate to the automotive service industry. Topics covered include: resume writing, job interviewing, formation of a business, hiring and firing personnel, small business bookkeeping, job estimating, profitability, insurance, EPA and OSHA regulations, and computer management systems.
Tardiness Policy:
Every time the student is late for a classroom session, 10 points will be deducted from the students total possible points. No Exceptions!
Grading:
50% of your grade will be from classroom assignments
40% of your grade will be from quizzes
10% of your grade will be from the instructor=s
subjective evaluation
Quizzes:
There will be three announced quizzes worth a total of 100
points. Make-up quizzes must be done within one week of your absence during the
instructor=s office hours. If not,
zero points will be marked down for your score.
