Write a memo to me (the instructor) that includes the following information about your plans for the long report.
An introduction that reviews the problem your recommendation report is addressing.
An indication of whether or not you are keeping the same reader for the long report as you used for the short report. NOTE: If you are changing your reader, include who the new reader is and why that reader would be appropriate.
A brief summary or list of additional information you plan to add about the problem.
A brief summary or list of additional information you plan to add about the solution.
A brief description of any other changes or additions you plan to make as you expand your short report into your long report.
Questions or concerns you have about your topic.
Be sure to use proper memo format (see Chapter 2). You will earn points based on the content, as well as the format, design, sentence structure, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
