On April 24, 2006, Zeta of Illinois Chapter at Illinois Valley Community College became the newest affiliate in Sigma Delta Mu, the National Spanish Honor Society for the First Two Years of College.
The Zeta of Illinois Charter was ratified at our first Annual Meeting held jointly with the World Language Organization [WLO] on April 24, 2006. Read the charter here.
The Annual Meeting is the Official Business Meeting of Zeta of Illinois Chapter. At this time, annual reports are given by officers of Zeta of Illinois Chapter and World Language Organization. New members who have qualified for membership during fall semester and are currently enrolled in an additional Spanish course at IVCC during spring semester are initiated into the chapter at the annual meeting.

Each year at the Annual Meeting the new initiates into Zeta of Illinois Chapter sign the <Registro Official>, the official register of membership.
