Welcome to my course, Language Arts for the early learner (ECE 2208). This is a blended course at Illinois Valley Community College! My name is Lynne Weber and I will be your instructor and facilitator for this course. I am a former third grade classroom teacher with experience in first, fifth, and seventh grades. Most of my classroom experience has been in the Princeton Elementary system and since retiring in June, 2007 I am substituting in a variety of educational settings.
This is Early Childhood, Language Development and we will meet on August 22. You will receive all the materials and instructions needed to fulfill the requirements for the course. This class will be a combination of blackboard discussion board questions and face to face lecture and activities. In both of the classes I teach, I place much value and emphasis on discussion and application of course materials.
